June Rendell is run by a team of fully trained and enthusiastic teachers. Exams can be taken in R.A.D Ballet, N.A.T.D Tap, Ballet and Modern, and ISTD modern. All children’s classes are held in a friendly atmosphere encouraging both discipline and enjoyment of dance. Children are taught from the age of three years upwards, and many stay until university age; even forming a facebook group Shows! At the June Rendell Academy of Dance we love to perform, which is why we regularly participate in shows. We have our own show every three years allowing us time to perform at other venues such as; The Palace Theatre Manchester, The Opera House, Tameside Hippodrome, Stockport Plaza, The Lowry and many more. We have also taken part in the Garrick Pantomimes, the 'Merry Christmas Show' and have performed as part of the Altrincham Festival. Recently, in 2008, we performed our Dance Review at The Bruntwood Theatre at the The Royal Northern College of Music. We are soon to perform in our next show in 2011 which will also be held at the Royal Northern College of Music |
