The June Rendell Academy of Dance is a large friendly dance school in Altrincham with pupils ranging from all ages.
We run classes for Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Pilates amongst others for adults and childrens.
Established for over 40 years the school has an excellent reputation for teaching and is currently run by Miss Woodward and Miss Bosworth although Miss Rendell still takes an active part. The building is a large detached house set in it's own grounds with parking facilities at the front & rear It has 3 studios all with wooden floors mirrors and barre`s.
SUMMER SCHOOL! A chance for your child to learn something new and alleviate summertime boredom! There will be classes in Ballet, Street Dance, Tap, Drama and Singing and an opportunity to perform in a show for friends and family on Friday. The Summer School is designed for children aged 3-13. Price for the week: £65 for ages 3 – 7 (20hrs) and £85 for ages 8 -13 (32.5hrs). See your teacher for more details of how to sign up. |
June Rendell`s was established in 1964 the school was originally known as the Hollingworth School of Dancing. Premises were above Taylor & Cross in Altrincham
When Mr Hollingworth retired Miss Rendell bought the Present premises, 74 Ellesmere Road Altrincham and it became the June Rendell School of Dancing
